Wow. I’m not often flattered, but I am flattered right now. I knew about a month ago that my story, “The Urban Parasite,” was going to be published in one of my favorite online literary magazines, Reflection’s Edge. What I didn’t know until about 3 seconds ago was that my story was going to be the featured story this month.
This comes on the tail end of an evening when I had another story of mine critiqued by my literary critique group. The feedback my group gave me was amazing–so in-depth and thought-provoking.
I’d invite you to check out “The Urban Parasite” and the other stories on the Reflection’s Edge website (clean and well-designed, ad-free). Thanks to everyone who gave me feedback on this story, including Josh, Gabby, Nancy, Mike, Kathleen, and Arthur.

Hey, that’s pretty cool. I’ll check it out. And I read Gilbert’s book…I’m curious to see what she has to say about creativity.
Awesome, Jamey.
Congrats!! That is great news!!
