Ashlyn--a fair point. But I think there's a difference between tearing away normal clothing and tearing away tearaway clothing. Like tearaway pants. You have to button them up afterwards, but they're still pants. You haven't torn them. Ha ha...the hobo look could catch on, though!

I always wondered that about Superman. With super-strength, those buttons are definitely popping off. Or maybe he's unbuttoning them at super speed?

Tearaway clothing sounds cool in theory, but just think--once you tear an outfit off, you can never wear it again. So say, you needed that tux for a fancy night out following that casual dinner, and then what do you do? You look like a hobo, that's what you do.
Superman must go through so many white button-ups.

Wow, that's impressive. What was the statement?

That was just Jamey speak. Although I got it from the Riddler.

Actually, my friend ripped off her shirt once to make a statement, and the buttons pop off. You have to resew them back on. In the movies, they just use velcro. So, she had to find another shirt for the rest of the evening...

I have to know, did you intentionally make that Riddler reference, or were you just speaking Jamey speak?

ps-that boogie nights scene w/ heather graham is all kinds of awesome.
