This photo didn’t turn out all that well, but I wanted to share with you one of my favorite parts of my family reunion: Uncle Mike’s homemade ribs. He broils them in BBQ sauce plus extra vinegar at home, brings them to the beach, and then grills them with more sauce here. The result is incredible. With 32 people, I couldn’t even get seconds!

OMG, I looooove ribs. My dad grills an unbelievable rack of ribs. I’m sure you enjoyed them immensely.
Ribs are holiday food at our house. Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor day. Dad usually does them with indirect heat on the weber kettle, which is pretty darn good. Last year, he and mom found a recepie that took ~6 hrs and a lot of prep work to do, and they were fabulous. But my dad recently bought a smoker. We’ve done ribs twice on it, chicken, and salmon. I haven’t liked anything that has come off that thing yet.
