Pet Pleases 41-43

Hidden under this thin veil of cookie is a gobble of chocolate chips. Yes, chocolate chips are measured in gobbles, just like turkeys.

41. When you find a homemade chocolate chip cookie that is more chocolate than cookie.

42. When you preorder a book on Kindle and forget you preordered it until you get the e-mail telling you that you have the book right next to you right now!

43. When the dentist compliments you on your “home care.”

  1. Chocolate chip cookies and dental health don’t usually go together so well! Nicely done.

Overall, I’ve always loved the Pet Please. I wonder if you’d ever consider replacing Festivus grievances one year with everyone’s pet pleases.

    • Intriguing idea about Festivus. Or maybe both? Grievances and Pet Pleases? Or maybe I should have a party 6 months away from mid-December (that would be mid-June) that is the opposite of Festivus. Beer Four Square would still be present, of course.

I should give credit to Bob Zager for the Pet Please idea. He suggested it after I had written about 15 Pet Peeves. I had no idea I’d end up with way more Pet Pleases than Pet Peeves, but I think that says something good about the way I look at the world.

  2. #41…we would have gotten along very well when I was a kid. I used to intentionally make several non-chocolate chocolate chip cookies. I was a little weird. haha.

  3. May I ask where is this kind of cookie can be purchased? And speaking of Festivus and cookies, I’m still those yummy gingerbread cookies at this past Festivus. So good!
