The Great Debate: The American Office vs. The British Office

The final season of The Office began last week, so I thought that it’s a good time to post a poll about the age-old question: Which version of The Office is better, the American version or the original British version?

If you’ve watched both versions, please vote in the poll below. We’ll debate in the comments.

It might be a little tough to compare the two, because there are nearly 10 seasons of the American version versus 2 seasons (and a holiday special) for the British version, so consider this context: If you were to spend all day Saturday curled up on your couch watching The Office, which one would you rather watch?

  1. I can’t decide. They’re different. But I like John Krasinski, so I voted American. And he married Emily Blunt so he’s an honorary Brit.

  2. I haven’t actually seen the British version, so I can’t speak to that. So I’ll take this in another direction: the first 2 episodes of this new season have been AWFUL. Last year was bad enough, but this show is limping to the finish line. Kinda like every other show that tried to carry on w/out the main character, I guess. Oh well.
