When I was raising money to go to China, he texted me late one night and told me he wanted to give me whatever the remaining amount was. I was shocked and told him it was a large number. “It’s ok,” he said. “I want to help.” When I told him I still lacked $1,300, he didn’t even flinch. A couple weeks later, a wad of cash was in my hand to turn into the non-profit that sent us to China.

My little brother has grown up and in quite a remarkable way.
