In the documentary series Planet Earth: Africa, there’s a breathtaking scene where animals of all shapes and sizes converge to drink and play in a precious oasis in the desert. Animals that would usually hunt each other drink right next to each other. It’s an incredible scene.
I’m a sucker for different species of animals hanging out with each other. Especially if they end up cuddling. So the other day when I stumbled upon this article, I experienced heartwarming overload. My favorite photo is below, but I highly recommend checking out the full article for other photos.
Have you ever experienced animals of different species hanging out with each other? TELL ME.

They share the same pouch!!!! Holy cuteness.

And of course, seeing my cats (Gwen and Hodor) grooming/snuggling with Jasper almost every day is pretty sweet– I’m thankful that the old saying “fighting like cats and dogs” isn’t true for my pets. 🙂
That’s awesome! Dogs and cats as friends are the best.
