Have You Watched A.P. Bio? I Highly Recommend It

I’m constantly in search of legitimately funny, well-written, half-hour comedies. I often discover them late in the game and have to catch up (see Veep, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Rick & Morty, etc), but I’ve gotten lucky with a new show.

As you can tell by the title, the show is called A.P. Bio. It’s an NBC sitcom about a class that wants to learn biology and a teacher who really, truly doesn’t care.

And it works. I’ve seen the first two episodes (they’re online here), and I’ve laughed out loud a number of times in each one. It’s full of lots of little, weird, quirky, and silly humor. It’s fully of interesting characters, especially episode 2 (the pilot is more dependent on Glenn Howerton, who is very funny, but the supporting cast shines too).

Like with any comedy, A.P. Bio may not be a good fit for everyone. But I highly, highly recommend giving the first two episodes a try. I could see this show being the next 30 Rock or Parks and Rec.

Let me know what you think if you give it a try!

  1. I watched the pilot and it was enough to make me interested to watch more. I have the second episode on my DVR but haven’t had a chance to watch it yet. Something has to fill the void in my heart left by The Good Place.
