One of the great, unexpected pleasures I’ve experienced over the last few years has been becoming an uncle three times over. So I wanted to share my elation with you, dear reader, that a new nephew has been added to the Stegmaier family!
My sister gave birth to Aaron on Friday (exactly 1 day after the due date…it’s amazing how accurate these predictions are!). When I heard that he weighed in at 10 pounds, 10 ounces, I thought he sounded on the bigger side, but I didn’t quite realize how big that is until I saw this photo of my 5-year-old niece holding him:
He’s a big boy!
I’m so excited to have Aaron in the family, and hopefully he’s a happy, healthy baby (especially for my sister and her husband, who now have a 5-year-old, a 3-year-old, and the new baby). I can’t wait to meet him in a few months!
Have you had any new babies enter your life this year?
Congratulations to you and the rest of the Stegmaier family. That is indeed one big baby! No new babies this year for my family after adding 3 nieces last year. But we are still scheduled to get one of our own early next year so we should start off 2019 in a good way. 🙂
Thanks Charles! That’s exciting to hear about your newcomer in 2019. 🙂
Our daughter Erin has a foster baby. 10 months old and also a big boy 25 Lb. he is a joy and such a good boy. They are fun but a lot of work. Your sister is no longer Man to man…now she’s playing a zone!
Congratulations to you and Erin, Rose!
Congrats, Jamey!
Thanks Joe!
Congratulations, Jamey! We’ve added two more babies to the Byrnes clan this year! Jamie was born in April and Hana was born in June. Jamie joins his big brother Jack who is 2 and Hana joins her big brother, Duke, who is also 2. We are overjoyed as I know your Mom and Dad are with this birth!
That’s wonderful, Chris! Congratulations!
Congrats!
Congrats Jamey! No new babies for us, we’ve already got 6. Lydia was our largest at 11 lb 4 oz.
Wow, Joe–Lydia was even bigger than Aaron!
