You may have noticed that I like to post something light (and hopefully funny) on Sunday evenings (to be read by most on Monday morning) because…well, Mondays.
Today’s post is no different. There’s not a lot of substance here, but hopefully it’ll make you smile.
Someone shared this post on Facebook a few days ago, and I was delighted to find that it is amazing. It’s basically just a collection of photos showing animals posing in the exact same way that a band might pose for an album. Except that the animals aren’t really posing for that purpose…they just happen to look that way.
Here are a few so this can make more sense. The first is for a 90s rap album cover:
I love this one of some up-and-coming music legends:
The top comment for this photo is fantastic: “Right, group photo..c’mon everyone in shot, chicken you in front with that crazy hair/feather thing, no no, cow in betweeeen the goat/sheep thing, Llama….just be yourself, now look interesting aaaannnddd on three …1, 2, 3.”
Check out the rest here. What’s your favorite?
I can’t help but be disappointed that no-one’s managed to capture animals recreating the iconic cover for actually…
…Still. The Mandrill is probably my favorite.
Um so glad you posted this because while I had seen the headline and those two images in my newsfeed, I hadn’t actually clicked through to the many images that were freaking delightful. I think my favorite is Fall Out Boys and The Band With The Twin Guitarists and the Romantic Duck.
