Will You Buy Anything on Black Friday?

Happy Thanksgiving! If you celebrated the holiday, I hope you had a wonderful day. I attended my traditional friends Thanksgiving and had a great meal, then I went to see Creed 2 with a different friend (I really enjoyed it).

Traditionally, the day after Thanksgiving for me is just like any other day. While I understand the lure of finding a good deal and getting something you’ve been eyeing for a while, I don’t go out of my way to go shopping. That’s my plan for tomorrow.

But I’m always curious about my fellow humans. Are you going shopping on Black Friday? If so, what are you hoping to buy? I hope you find what you’re looking for!

While I don’t have any plans for special deals at Stonemaier Games, here’s our gift guide in case you’re curious:

  1. Even though I have left the radical left, I still celebrate Buy Nothing Day today as a philosophy. Sometimes it is easy cause I am broke, but I feel it is good philosophically. And not since deals are spread out, you are not really missing anything, and probably not even making a mark to sit out, but I guess it is stuck in me after so many years of doing it. We try to do art instead, ideally making something for someone.

No dis against those who participate, I know for some people it is an economic necessity, and for others a tradition.
