This week I’ve seen a number of reviews for a cozy digital game called Wanderstop. It reminds me a lot of the book Legends & Lattes, except in a fantasy tea shop instead of a coffee shop.
The tea shop features an elaborate, over-the-top tea-making machine that I would love to see in real life:

I say this as someone who rarely drinks tea and makes most of my coffee at home. When I buy from a coffee shop, it’s a to-go order. But if there were a coffee or tea shop that looked like Wanderstop, I would soak in the experience and enjoy the tea there. It makes something ordinary look magical.
Have you seen anything like this in real life? Do you think it would be a draw, or would the novelty quickly grow old? The closest I’ve seen to this is at Galaxy’s Edge in Disney World, and it was pretty spectacular.
I’ve seen a coffee shop that used an organic chemistry set to brew coffee, but other than that it was a normal shop. There’s a shop in SoCal that is sci-fi/fantasy themed which might be the closest I’ve seen: https://www.yelp.com/biz/elixir-tea-bar-costa-mesa-2
That looks amazing!
