I’m really enjoying the second season of The Last of Us, though I haven’t known what to say about it…until now.
This is a big season. There are two major locations, several heartbreaking losses, a beautiful love story, and worldbuilding mysteries (new factions, new zombies, etc).
And then there’s episode 6.
It’s a brilliant episode that stands on its own but also explains so much about the two core characters from the first season, Ellie and Joel. In one hour, you see key moments from nearly 5 years of their relationship (which is akin to father-daughter), with each segment explaining more about their special love and the gap between them that surprised me back in episode 1.
I loved episode 6, and I hope you did too. It’s a high point in a show that’s already excellent, and I’m curious about what will follow.

For me, episode 2 of season 2 was an absolute rollercoaster! .
I couldn’t believe it when Joel died but what an absolute epic show!
We have only watched up to episode 5 so far, so I’m eagerly waiting to see number 6 now 🙂
