The Traitors Season 4 (and Some Ideas)

We just finished watching The Traitors season 4 (US edition), and I would say it’s by far the best designed season yet. The show continues to find ways to cast suspicion on the traitors–who have a huge advantage over the faithful–while still leaving plenty of room for social dynamics. The season also included my favorite scene throughout the entire US series, the banquet.

In short, even if you’ve never watched The Traitors, I highly recommend jumping directly into season 4.

I have a few ideas for shows akin to The Traitors; let me know what you think:

  • The Prestige: 12 people gather on a ranch. Actually, 13, as 2 of the people are identical twins who must switch out every 12 hours. At the end of the week, the contestants must figure out who is a twin.
  • Accent: 15 people from around the world gather at a resort, each with a different–but fake–accent. In each episode, someone is nominated by the group to leave the show, and everyone secretly guesses the nominee’s real accent. If anyone is correct, the nominee goes home empty handed, and the current prize pool gains $50k. If everyone is incorrect, the nominee takes home the current prize pool.

What do you think? Did you watch season 4?

  1. They actually did a twin twist on Big Brother a while ago. The houseguests noticed because one of them refused to paint her nails, and apparently their dispositions were different enough to make it obvious.
