If you’re looking for some lighter movies to enjoy at home this weekend, I have two recommendations.
The Dink is perhaps the funnier of the two, particularly the dynamic between the main character (a former tennis phenom) and his best friend (played by Aaron Chen from Fisk). The movie pokes fun at pickleball before ultimately embracing it.
Masters of the Universe is the new He-Man movie. Aside from some physical comedy, the movie has fun with the He-Man IP–particularly the outlandish names–without going off the rails (it still takes the IP seriously enough).
Have you watched any good comedies recently? I’m curious to see One Night Only in theaters soon.
